Yellow and Purple
This mini project was inspired by Piet Mondrian. he was a dutch painter in the 20th century. His original colors included red, blue, black and, white. I really enjoyed recreating this painting because it gave me complete creative control of color and placement. I continue to use the color yellow because it stands out against any color you place it by.
Russian Art
This art project was inspired by wassail Kandinsky. Kandinsky was a Russian painter and art theorist. Kandinsky originally used more lines and circles in his this painting. I like to think I used my creativity to make it my own original. I enhanced the circles to look more oddly shaped and less lines. I kept the soft color trend he had going on but I just used different colors to indicate that.
Creativity
This art project was inspired by Nina Chanel Abney. Nina Chanel is an American artist who was born in Illinois. She is a contemporary artist and painter who explores race, gender, pop culture, and politics in her work. I really enjoyed recreating this artwork because I could feel the creativity burning in my mind as I came up with these abstract shapes. I had no clue what shapes to put together originally until I started to build and merge shapes together.
Philadelphia Flag
This is one of my personal flags. I based it off of the city in which I am from. Can you take a guess? Philadelphia PA. The bell represents the entire city. The buildings together reminds me of the downtown scene. Anybody who sees this poster first glance , should know what this represents
LOGO
this logo here represents me as a person. My two favorite colors red and blue will always compliment each other in a way that, in my opinion no other two colors will. The letter represents my first name and the DANN represents the last name in short. The stars represent the people I have lost in life ( Stars in the sky).
